Hunkydory

The story of Hunkydory Crafts began back in 1990, at a humble little wool and needlecraft shop in Preston town centre. Founded by Ann and David Newhouse, their passion for crafting grew as they began to supply papercraft products. This idea came from simply buying peel-off stickers to add greetings to handmade cards, and with this, something far bigger grew up.

In 2002, Ann and David introduced Cardcraft Plus, a mail order craft company, allowing customers to order products directly to their door. In the beginning, it was difficult to supply enough the source of high quality products to fill their regular catalogues. The passion for crafting ran in the family, and to help each other, they recruited their two sons, Adam and Daniel, who helped the family business flourish..
